Expert Modular Battery Monitoring System

The Expert Modular allows you to build a battery monitoring system to suit your application requirements and personal preferences. You may add several displays and up to 3 smart shunts per system.

Full Battery Information for each battery is provided including: Voltage, Amps, Amp-Hours Consumed, State of Charge % and time remaining. Historical data is also stored including: Maintenance Hours, Average Depth of Discharge etc. An optional temperature sensor is available.

Each Smart Shunt provides current readings (and current dependent information such as State of Charge, Time Remaining etc). However, each smart shunt will also allow voltage only monitoring for up to 2 additional batteries.

Example system: Flybridge motor-boat with Port Engine Battery, Stbd Engine Battery & Domestic Battery. Full battery information required on Domestic battery. Information needed at both steering positions. System would include: 2x Display units, 1x Smart Shunt.
